Reading to the juniors

On Wednesday we finally opened our new library, we had to dress up as a book character but hardly anyone dress up but did, I dress up as a piano man,we had to bless the library and then all the seniors had to read to the juniors for book day.

My holiday

1. wrestling my cousins
2. drinking fizzy
3. playing on my P.C

On the holiday my whanau from Australia came over to visits for a week, when they arrived from the airport ,after they arrived they packed away their bags and drove over to our house, we had a party and my cousins and I were wrestling on the trampoline, My cousin Deegan jumped on my back and R.K.O me on to the tramp, after a while I won the wrestle and we had some fizz's and had played on my new P.C my dad gave me, we played fortnite, skate 3 and some 2 player games.when my uncle came back he brag Deegans PS4 then we played duos and disco domination together and we manage to get a victory royale on duos twice.

Decimals

Today and yesterday we were learning how to do decimals,A decimal is a fraction that is written in the form of a dot followed by one or more numbers which represent tenths, hundredths, and so on: for example .5, .51, .517.simple math concepts, such as decimals and fractions, our question were 45.66 + 17.09=62.75 the easy part was writing and the table and the hard part was solving the problem.

Drawing a grid

Today we are doing math, but we have to use a strategy called a grid,you can use this for timetables and multiplication, I use timetables and I got the answers right, but it's not about the answers it's about strategy, my problem was 63 x 39 and the answer was 4257.

Fun Run

On Friday we wen't to the UK Rugby club for the fun run,We got there by walking to the train station  from school and  catching the train to the UK,when we got there we all were excited for the fun run because all the seniors got to run were the mud is and the juniors got to run around the two rugby fields, when it was the juniors turn we watch them running and some of the older brothers\sisters got to run with them to help them, when it was our turn we ran slow on the rocks because we had no shoes and it hurt, when we got to the mud I quickly jumped in the mud and got my hole body dirty, then we reach to the biggest mud spot in the UK rugby club, we all jumped and saw the girls and had a mud ball fight with them it was super fun,we were in the mud playing for 15 minutes, when we had hop out we had to wash our self in the creek instead some people including me ran muddy as with Jahrome, Qaiden and I came a draw on purpose muddy and happy, together we came 2 st place.

Project island

Today we are asking questions about project island,my question was ¨how long did it take to trap all the pest on the island?¨ we we´re also learning facts about project island my fact was project island is a pest free island, because if there rats or mouses there they take and eat the kiwis eggs, the easy part was asking question and the hard part was learning the facts I now know.

last week we were report writing, I was writing about a giant sea turtles, The things you need in a report writing is Subheading, Title, Opening statement and a general statement, the easy part was researching and the hard part was writing it in my own words.
